[ȓə 'njuːjɔːk rɪ'vjuː əv 'bʊks], 1963 während eines Druckerstreiks gegründete, vierzehntägig (im Juli und August monatlich) erscheinende, liberale amerikanische Literaturzeitschrift, die primär Neuerscheinungen der Literatur und der Kulturwissenschaften in ausführlichen Rezensionen vorstellt, aber auch Gedichte und längere Essays über aktuelle Ereignisse abdruckt.
